Beth Frost-Johnson, President
Beth established Frost-Johnson Medical Marketing in 2008 to provide the right strategies–product, pricing, distribution and communication–for start-up and early-stage medical device, clinical services, and information technology companies. In her role as medical marketing consultant, Beth has collaborated with more than 25 medical companies, increasing market share and entering new markets that deliver incremental revenue streams. Her record of pragmatic bottom-line success has prompted a number of clients to continue to retain Beth as their consulting VP-Marketing.
Before founding her consulting practice, Beth served as VP-Strategic Marketing at Merge Healthcare for eight years. Merge Healthcare is a publicly traded company that was recently acquired by IBM. In addition to all corporate marketing responsibilities, Beth had P&L responsibility for eFilm, the first radiology software to be sold online. Over the course of four years, she grew the eFilm product from $250K to $7.5 million. Beth has also served as VP-Marketing for Ministry Health Care, a six-hospital health system recently acquired by Ascension Health. In her role as Associate Administrator of a 270-physician multispecialty group practice, she developed and operated four walk-in clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, and sports medicine and occupational health programs. Also a serial entrepreneur, Beth was a founding member in a start-up healthcare company ThinkMed, where she helped to grow the company to a successful divestiture in five years.
Beth has received numerous healthcare marketing awards over the course of her career. Her board activities include service on the National Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association Health Services Academy, and the American College of Healthcare Marketing.
